Czy mozna uczyc sie callanem samemu w domu??

The callan method is a great way to learn english, especially if the lesson is conducted by a native speaker. However at about stage 10, and for sure stage 11, the method falls to pieces. Also, as the method was written in the 1960s it is a little outdated. Many of the Idioms and certain phrases used in callan are very rarely heard in the english language nowadays. For example, can anyone tell me when they have ever heard the idiom "feel down in the mouth" used outside the lesson??
Anyway, from my experiance, the callan method is one of the best ways to learn english up to an intermediate level, but students need to think about moving on to somthing different at about stage 9/10.

I agree with you. I also had to find different solutions to my students who were at the intermediate level. Anyway I appreciate the method:)
